We continue with a focus on prayer during this season of Easter. Our congregation and our own lives will be strengthened in faith as we focus on prayer. Here is the prayer for Easter week 4.
The 4th Sunday of Easter is known as Good Shepherd Sunday. You’re invited to use Psalm 23 as your prayer for this week. Let it be part of a daily pattern of prayer. Read and consider/contemplate this beautiful psalm. Together, this Easter, may we walk this joyful journey of deepening faith.
Prayer of the week- Jesus is the Good Shepherd -A prayer for Easter week 4
The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside still waters; he restores my soul. He leads me in right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; for you are with me; your rod and your staff– they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD my whole life long. Amen!
Blessings on the journey! – Rev. Mark
