Dear friends, “I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord!”” (Psalm 122)
We are pleased to share with you the news that we will be resuming in-person worship on Sunday, February 13th. We are sharing this news via our usual email newsletter, but if you know of anyone not in the email loop, please pass the news along. Please note that we will remain online only for this Sunday, February 6. We will be posting our online service for this coming Sunday and the link will go out in the newsletter on Saturday at the usual time.
Once we have returned to in-person worship (February 13th) we will then record the service and post it online later in the day. We recognize that many still do not feel safe joining together and we want to assure you that we will continue to reach out to connect with you as a worshiping community.
As we come together again, our worship will be much the same as it was in the fall. We will continue to work our way back to more familiar practices, but it will take a bit of time as we move cautiously forward. We are grateful for your patience as we persevere together during these challenging times. We are committed to following the Health Unit regulations and will continue to monitor, and adapt to, any changes that occur to the regulations.
Thank you so much for your ongoing prayers and support during this time. We are looking forward to connecting ‘in-person’ at worship and other future events at Trinity.
For God alone my soul waits in silence, for my hope is from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken. (Psalm 62:5-6).
Blessings,
Rev. Mark
